Guided biking the Congo Nile trail in 3 days

DAY 1 GISENYI-KINUNU 41 km

After eating your breakfast, Start the ride in the morning where you will cycle from Gisenyi to Kinunu for 41 kms cycling on the shores of lake Kivu through villages, coffee and banana plantations, at the end enjoy a magical evening at the water, visit the coffee washing station and spend the night there.

DAY 2 KINUNU-BUMBA 29 km

Start off with early breakfast and with your packed lunch, jump back on your bike today and take on a hilly ride from  Kinunu biking around Lake Kivu, exploring fishing villages and interacting with local people along the way. Overnight at the Bumba camping site near Rutsiro district headquarter. Accommodation: Bumba guest house

Duration: 5-6 hours

DAY 3 BUMBA-KIBUYE 33 km

Early breakfast at Bumba campsite with packed lunch begins your biking tour down and uphills for 17 km on dirty roads and 16 kms on tarmac road till Kibuye town, with very great panoramic views. On arrival, rest your weary legs and perhaps reward yourself with a refreshing drink and celebrate the tour’s accomplishments.

After eating your lunch in Kibuye, Our driver will transfer you from Kibuye to Kigali.
